The deployment spans a state-of-the-art conference centre at the downtown Toronto headquarters of a leading Canadian financial institution — 124 configurations across rooms ranging from auditoriums and workshops to fireside chats and executive boardrooms.
Three decisions most deployments skip
Three engineering decisions separated this project from typical enterprise Crestron work:
- Pooled resource architecture — microphones and displays shared across all eleven rooms instead of fixed per-room allocation
- Dual-platform unified control — Crestron and Cisco running side by side, each handling what it does best
- Dual-mode interfaces — every panel supporting both an end-user view and a technician mode
Each of these is a genuine engineering trade-off, not a checkbox. None of them show up in a typical RFP unless you already know to ask.
